News: Man dies after car crashes into light pole in Fort Worth

The accident happened Monday afternoon near Martin Luther King Freeway and East Vickery Boulevard.

FORT WORTH, TX - Police in Fort Worth responded to a deadly car accident that took place on Monday afternoon, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.


Investigators said a driver lost control of his car in the area of Martin Luther King Freeway and East Vickery Boulevard at about 12:30 p.m. and crashed into a light pole.


The 23-year-old driver was pronounced dead less than an hour later after being transported to John Peter Smith Hospital.  No one else was in the car at the time of the crash.
