News: 18-wheeler accident shuts down ramp to Interstate 35E in Dallas

DALLAS, TX - An accident involving an 18-wheeler slowed down traffic in downtown Dallas early Wednesday morning, reports WFAA.

The Dallas County Sheriff's Office said the tractor-trailer hit a barrier and overturned just before 3 a.m. in the vicinity of North Stemmons Freeway and the Woodall Rodgers Freeway.

No injuries were reported in the incident, but the connector ramp from the westbound Woodall Rodgers to northbound Interstate 35E was shut down while Dallas Fire-Rescue crews responded to the scene.  The connector ramp reopened about eight hours later.

The sheriff's office is investigating the cause of the accident.
