News: 2 injured in stolen vehicle crash in south Dallas

The suspect vehicle slammed into a pizzeria on MLK Blvd.

DALLAS, TX - Two people, including the suspect, were injured when a stolen vehicle crashed into a south Dallas pizzeria following a brief police chase on Monday afternoon.


According to WFAA, the suspect fled police after they attempted to stop the stolen vehicle in the 2500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Officers pursued the suspect until they lost control of the vehicle in an attempt to turn left on Atlanta Street and crashed into DJ Blackjack Pizza.


Both the suspect and an employee at the pizzeria were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Their identities are being withheld pending further investigation.
