News: 4 high school baseball players injured in Bartonville car accident

The four Marcus High School players were hurt in a crash in front of a restaurant on FM 407 Saturday night.

BARTONVILLE, TX - A car crash in southern Denton County injured four members of a local high school baseball team, reports the Cross Timbers Gazette. 


The accident took place Saturday night in front of Marty B's restaurant on FM 407 in Bartonville just before 8:30 p.m.  Five people were hospitalized, including the four baseball players from Marcus High School.  No details were released about what led to the incident.


An update from a representative for the team said that two of the players were released from the hospital Sunday while the two others remained hospitalized in stable condition.  There was no word on the condition of the fifth injured victim.
