DALLAS, TX - The Dallas Police Department issued a news release seeking the public's help in tracking down the suspect in a deadly hit-and-run accident.

The incident happened Monday morning when a 2005 gray Toyota Avalon going east in the middle lane of Royal Lane crashed into a Honda Accord that was at a stop sign at the intersection with Rosser Road.

An 82-year-old woman who was in the Honda was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital. A 13-year-old girl who was a passenger in the Toyota was in serious condition at a medical facility.

The suspect and passengers in the Toyota abandoned the car and ran from the scene, according to investigators.  Police posted photos of the vehicle and the people they are searching for.
