News: Pickup truck accident in West Oak Cliff kills 1, injures 1
The pickup slammed into a utility pole near Illinois Avenue early Sunday morning.
DALLAS, TX - A pickup truck was involved in a deadly accident in Dallas early Sunday morning, police said.
Dallas police told KDFW the crash took place on Cockrell Hill Road in West Oak Cliff at about 2:30 a.m. According to investigators, the driver of the pickup truck was going south and lost control of the vehicle in the area of Illinois Avenue.
The pickup crashed into a utility pole. Firefighters responded to the scene and found two people trapped inside. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was hospitalized in critical condition.
