News: Driver arrested after fatally striking bicyclist in Grand Prairie
The driver fled without rendering aid to the cyclist
DALLAS, TX - A man is facing charges in connection to a deadly crash involving a bicyclist in Grand Prairie last Friday night.
According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the cyclist was struck by a Honda while riding in the area of West Jefferson Street, just west of the Great Southwest Parkway at about 9:30 p.m.
The unidentified victims as rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Honda's driver, a 30-year-old man, was located at a residence a short time later. He was taken into custody on suspicion of accident involving personal injury or death.
