News: 42-year-old woman fatally struck by SUV in Arlington
The woman was hit as she attempted to cross New York Ave.
ARLINGTON, TX - A woman was killed late Saturday night when she was hit by a vehicle while attempting to cross the street in East Arlington.
According to CBS DFW, the 42-year-old woman was hit by a Ford Expedition at about 11:58 p.m. as she crossed New York Avenue near TX-303.
The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries sometime on Sunday. Her identity is being withheld pending further investigation.
The Ford's driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. No charges are expected to be filed at this time.
