News: Driver injured after crashing off bridge in Flower Mound

First responders came to the rescue of the driver after the incident in the 4900 block of Wichita Trail.

FLOWER MOUND, TX - A driver was rushed to the hospital following a car crash in Flower Mound late Saturday night.


According to the Cross Timbers Gazette, first responders arrived at the scene in the 4900 block of Wichita Trail after the incident took place at about 11 p.m.  The Flower Mound Fire Department said a driver crashed off a bridge, and the vehicle plunged about 30 feet into a creek bed.


Firefighters and rope technicians worked together to rescue the driver from the creek bed.  The victim was taken to an area trauma center with what were described as significant injuries.
