FORT WORTH, TX - Police and family members are asking for the public's help in finding the driver responsible for the hit-and-run death of a Fort Worth teenager, NBC DFW reports.

The 13-year-old boy was last seen leaving his home Nov. 9 and was reported missing when he did not return.  On Nov. 16, a body was found by Texas Department of Transportation workers and has now been identified as the missing teen.

Police believe he was struck by a vehicle on the 9600 block of West Freeway on either Nov. 15 or Nov. 16.   An investigation is underway in an effort to find the driver and the vehicle involved.

Anyone with information regarding the incident was asked to contact Fort Worth police.
