News: Woman under arrest for Dallas accident that killed pedestrian
A 22-year-old driver was arrested for a fatal crash last month in the 9900 block of Forest Lane.
DALLAS, TX - Dallas police have announced an arrest in connection with a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred on Nov. 14, CBS DFW reports.
The incident took place in the 9900 block of Forest Lane, where a man who had been walking on the sidewalk stepped into the roadway and was hit by a vehicle going at high speed just after midnight. The 33-year-old victim, who was thrown into a wall, suffered fatal injuries.
Police said the driver was a 22-year-old woman who left the scene of the crash. She was arrested on Tuesday on charges of manslaughter and failing to stop and render aid. The suspect was taken to the Dallas County Jail.
