News: Mansfield man charged in connection to deadly rear-end crash in Bedford
The collision claimed the life of a two-year-old child
DALLAS, TX - A man from Mansfield is facing a number of charges in connection to a rear-end crash on TX-121 Saturday afternoon that claimed the life of a young child.
According to a report by Fox 4, the incident occurred at about 2:30 p.m. near the Cheek Sprager Road overpass.
Police say the 36-year-old male driver of a Dodge pickup truck was traveling at a high rate of speed when his vehicle rear-ended a silver sedan.
A two-year-old passenger in the sedan suffered fatal injuries in the crash. At least one additional occupant sustained unspecified injuries.
The pickup's driver was taken into custody on manslaughter charges. He was booked into the Euless Jail as additional charges are pending.
