News: Man charged in connection to deadly pedestrian accident in NW Dallas

DALLAS, TX - A man is facing a number of charges in connection to a fatal pedestrian accident in northwest Dallas early Sunday.


According to a report by Fox 4, two people, a 21-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man were crossing in the 10000 block of Composite Drive, near Electronic Lane at about 3 a.m. when they were hit.


The driver, an unidentified man, then continued down the road before slamming into another vehicle. He get thot out and attempted to flee on foot but was arrested a short time later.


Both pedestrians were rushed to the hospital in serious condition. The two occupants of the other vehicle involved suffered minor injuries.


The suspect is currently facing  two counts of intoxication manslaughter, and four counts of fail to stop and render aid.
