DALLAS, TX - An accident in downtown Dallas Wednesday morning left one person injured and disrupted traffic.

The Dallas County Sherifff's Office told WFAA that four vehicles were involved in the collision - an 18-wheeler, two SUVs and a dump truck. It happened in the westbound lanes of Interstate 30 near the exit for Lamar Street. Reports from the scene said one of the SUVs became wedged between the dump truck and the big rig.

One person was injured in the wreck and was hospitalized in stable condition. HazMat crews were on the scene to contain a fuel spill caused by the crash.

The westbound main lanes of I-30 were shut down but reopened to traffic later in the morning.
