News: Pedestrian struck in Dallas by driver who fled scene

Police are looking for the driver who hit a pedestrian in the 3100 block of S. Great Trinity Forest Way.

DALLAS, TX - A search is underway for the driver involved in a hit-and-run incident in Dallas on Friday night, KDFW reports.


Police said the driver of a gold Ford Taurus struck a pedestrian in the 3100 block of S. Great Trinity Forest Way shortly before 10:30 p.m.  The driver did not stop to help and fled the scene of the crash, according to police.


The pedestrian was seriously injured and was transported to an area hospital.  Police said the vehicle they are searching for is a late 1990s to early 2000s Ford Taurus that is registered to a Mercury Mountaineer.


Anyone with further information was asked to contact Dallas police.
