News: Police searching for suspect involved in deadly hit-and-run in west Dallas

The victim was struck as he attempted to cross N. Hampton Rd.

DALLAS, TX - Police in west Dallas are searching for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run that claimed the life of a man on Sunday.


According to a report by CBS DFW, the victims as attempting to cross North Hampton Road when he was hit by a black Chevrolet SUV.


The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.


The driver of the SUV fled the scene. Police say the suspect vehicle may have front-end damage and dark-tinted windows.


No arrests have been made as of this writing.
