News: Suspected drunk driver collides with Dallas fire rescue truck
A woman was charged with drunk driving after crashing into the truck in the southbound lanes of N. Stemmons Freeway near Storey Lane.
DALLAS, TX - Police arrested an alleged drunk driver after she was involved in an accident in Dallas early Saturday morning, according to KDFW.
The incident occurred on North Stemmons Freeway near Storey Lane shortly after 2:30 a.m. Dallas Fire-Rescue had responded to the southbound lanes of the freeway for a prior crash. Police said a woman then crashed into the back of a blocker truck that was being used by DFR to manage traffic.
The woman was hospitalized and was listed in critical condition. No firefighters were injured in the wreck. The woman was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated.
