News: Suspects flee scene after pickup truck crashes into Fort Worth home
Police said a Chevy Silverado LT slammed into a home on the 6800 block of Routt Street Sunday morning.
FORT WORTH, TX - Police in Fort Worth are investigating a crash that extensively damaged the home of a family early Sunday morning.
According to a report by NBC DFW, the driver of a Chevy Silverado LT pickup truck crashed into the living room of a house on the 6800 block of Routt Street in the early morning hours. Two men who were in the vehicle fled from the scene following the accident.
No injuries were reported, but the man who lives in the home with his girlfriend was quoted as saying a portion of their house was destroyed along with their belongings. Their car was also damaged. The couple has now been displaced due to the instability of the home's structure.
The two men being sought by police have not yet been identified.
