News: SUV crashes into Far North Dallas restaurant, leaving 4 hospitalized

DALLAS, TX - Rescue crews responded to the scene of an accident Thursday night at a Far North Dallas restaurant, reports NBC DFW.
Dallas-Fire Rescue said an SUV crashed into Speranza Ristorante Italiano in the 18200 block of Preston Road. Four people who were in the restaurant at the time were taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries, while multiple other customers were treated for minor injuries.
The crash caused damage to the restaurant's exterior wall. According to the report, a woman was handcuffed at the scene and placed into a police cruiser, but no charges were immediately announced. The incident remains under investigation by Dallas police.
