News: Fort Worth woman killed in wrong-way crash on Highway 67
The victim collided head-on with an SUV while heading east near Cleburne.
JOHNSON COUNTY, TX - Authorities said one driver was killed and another seriously injured in a wrong-way accident in Johnson County over the weekend.
According to KRLD, the collision occurred on Highway 67 near Cleburne. The Texas Department of Public Safety said Jennifer Walker of Fort Worth was driving a car east and crossed over the roadway's middle line. The car crashed into a sport utility vehicle head-on.
Walker was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, Jessica Watson of Glen Rose, was transported to Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth. Her injuries were reported to be serious but not life-threatening.
