News: 82-year-old woman killed in Dallas hit-and-run crash

Two vehicles were involved in a fatal collision at the intersection of Royal Lane and Rosser Road.

DALLAS, TX - An elderly woman died following a collision between two vehicles in northwest Dallas Monday morning, according to the Dallas Morning News.


The wreck occurred in the area of Rosser Road and Royal Lane just after 11 a.m.  Investigators said a 2005 Toyota Avalon going east in the middle lane of Royal Lane crashed into a Honda Accord that was at a stop sign at the intersection.


An 82-year-old woman who was in the Honda was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital.  A 13-year-old girl who was a passenger in the Toyota was in serious condition at a medical facility.


Witnesses to the incident said a teenager and two young females fled the scene on foot.  Dallas Police are investigating the crash.
