News: Woman and 2 children hit by SUV while walking near school in Fort Worth

The accident happened Thursday morning near Comanche Springs Elementary School.

FORT WORTH, TX - Police said a pedestrian accident near a school in Fort Worth injured a woman and two children Thursday morning, according to WFAA.


It happened as the three were walking near Comanche Springs Elementary School in the 8100 block of Comanche Springs Drive.  Police said they were struck by an SUV that was making a turn at an intersection.


The woman and two children sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening, and all three were listed in stable condition.  The driver of the SUV told police they did not see the pedestrians prior to the incident.
